Filament holder

I needed a bracket to mount my 3D printer filament spools to the wall, so I took action online, calling a few stores to see what they had available, but I envisioned something truly unique - I could make it from pipes at Home Depot. Instead, I decided to design my ideal bracket on the computer. It only took 20 minutes and then I sent the file to my 3D printer, and an hour later, I had my very own bracket in hand. A little bit of sanding and polishing later, and I was able to screw it into place. This entire project cost me just 75 cents in plastic and saved me a ton of waste - it was also an absolute blast to work on and I learned something new along the way. Now, I'm excited to share this with you, so check out my other inventions at https://www.youmagine.com/users/reversestartupDesignIt's a durable bracket that turns your wall into a 3D printer feeding system, making it easy to maintain and access. It looks great and works like threading a needle - just feed your printer from a wall of reels. This design is award-winning when it comes to simplicity, makeability, and durability - it mounts to any flat surface with three recessed screws. It's incredibly strong and the reels just slip on and are easy to manage. All edges have been rounded so there's no need for any finish work. Use this bracket for reels with 2-inch diameter holes and no thicker than 3.75 inches. Size is 4.2 x 3 x 2.2 inches. Printing advice: print ABS or PLA - I've made it easy to make. Print with the flat side down using a raft, and I've included settings that work well for me. Units are English: layer_height = 0.20; fill_density = 100; nozzle_size = 0.4; print_speed = 50; support = None; platform_adhesion = Raft; bottom_thickness = 0; travel_speed = 50.0; bottom_layer_speed = 20. Thank you - please encourage me and others alike to keep sharing ideas and creations, give feedback and favorite me if you find this useful.
