Filament Holder For The Desktop

Filament Holder For The Desktop

Here is a very simple design of a filament holder that's small in size and bulk, taking just 30 minutes to make the two you need. You can even print it with minimal infill - I only used 10%. I designed this after needing one and all I could find were ones that looked overcomplicated for what I needed it to do, so I designed this little one which works great and should work with all size filament spools. I've included a couple of feet you can make out of ninja flex - they work fantastic if your printer is pulling the filament straight across instead of pulling the filament up. Check out this video of it working: https://youtu.be/keuVai_YIQ4 Instructions Print this on its side for best results, and use whatever settings you're happy with. I personally used 0.2mm at 40mm/s with 10% infill. When printing the feet, try to use kapton tape or something that provides a shiny finish on the bottom as this produces the best amount of grip.
