This holder sits very tight on the rack for the filament spool. I printed it in PLA which is very brittle but it didnt break. I recommend some plastic, that is more elastic than PLA. Also my supports sticked too good in the inside of the actual guide (with the little spiral) that the spirals broke off. Luckily they can be superglued together.
