Filament holder angled at 45 degrees above top frame design accommodates 8mm threaded rod seamlessly. The acrylic frame provides an impressive 8mm clearance, ensuring a snug yet secure fit. This robust filament holder can effortlessly handle spools weighing up to 1-2 kg, although I have not personally tested it with the heavier 5 kg option. Update December 20, 2018 - A significant upgrade has been added: a spool insert and locking nut feature. The center diameter of the spool insert measures an impressive 52 mm and is specifically designed to fit perfectly onto an 8mm threaded rod.
