A custom filament spool holder designed to fit snugly over a standard piece of 2x4 lumber. This design features strategically placed holes for secure screw mounting but also accommodates filament without the need for screws. I utilize this spool holder to manage my Push Plastic filament spools, so results may vary if your spool differs significantly from mine. Version 2: The original STL file was uploaded. Version 3: In a significant upgrade, the length of the spool rod was extended by 1/4 inch and the spool keeper was rotated by 45 degrees to enhance its ability to grasp the spool when attached to angled lumber, as evident in my provided photos and workspace. Print Settings: Printer: A5 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 mm Infill: 15% Notes: I use Cura for slicing and include supports that just touch the build plate.
