Filament Holder Creality Ender 3
thingiverse
I decided to upgrade my filament holder on my Creality Ender 3 Pro and make it with bearings. I carefully measured all my spools with filament and aimed to create an extremely versatile holder. I wanted to ensure that the bearings wouldn't just sit loosely on the rod, so I came up with a reliable solution. The internal bearing is securely held in place by two M8 bolts with washers. The external bearing is clamped down by an outer M8 bolt with a washer. To accommodate my widest spool with the narrowest inner hole, I needed to cut a 13 cm long rod section. My entire design is based on using two 608 bearings, a 13cm x 8mm diameter rod, four M8 bolts, three washers, and two larger washers. The cone detail was printed with supports for the internal hole that houses the bearing. All other details were printed without any supports.
