Maybe not as sleek, but a bit more versatile. Attach it to the backside of your printer (the most compact setup / enclosure friendly). Included two different pegs (secured with M5 screws): -A regular peg with an ID of 28mm (can be used with rolls weighing up to 2 kg and possibly even heavier) -A small one with an ID of 18mm that accommodates smaller filament rolls like Taulman's Required: -M5x30mm and M5 nuts (4mm thick) per peg -M5x?mm and two M5 T-nuts **Important:** The M5 nuts are hidden inside the pegs. Use the script below to stop the print and place the nut inside, then continue printing. Please check if the script works with your firmware. In Slic3r and variants, append the snippet in Printer Settings > Custom G-Code > Before Layer change. Don't forget to remove it after slicing or disable it by setting layer_z==-10 ``` ; PICK AND PLACE: specify layer_z in mm to enable {if layer_z==18}; Pause to insert objects M400 ; wait for movement buffer to empty M300 ; beep M104 S150; Turn off extruder heater to avoid too much oozing G1 X10.000 Y200.000 E0; parking position GET THE PRUSA TO STICK IT'S TONGUE OUT! (edited to revise Y coordinate) M400; wait for bed to stop moving M300; beep again M0; user stop G28 X Y; Home X and Y (only) to correct for accidentally moved bed or extruder (it is assumed Z didn't move because that is a harder axis to manually move).
