Filament hanging hook
thingiverse
Here's the Hook Hanger (Blue), modified to fit in a smaller footprint. It now has a thicker base that attaches directly to the printer and additional reinforcement extending up to the holes for increased rigidity. The original design features a black hook, as seen in one of the pictures. This was my first attempt at creating the design. The original version consists of two parts - left and right - but is represented by a single STL file. I came across a video on YouTube featuring BaronWilliams' hook design with an impressive curve at the top. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the STL file he created. He plans to refine his design before sharing it publicly. In response, I designed my own version (left and right) of the hook. For the filament guide section, I drew inspiration from the Omnistand Mod backside. The resulting design offers two versions: Version A: This includes 2 filament guides, represented by GX files for left or right extruders. Note that these GX files contain a 1mm support. Version B: This version features 6 filament guides. To mount this hook hanger, you will need the following components: 4 screws (M3 x 25 mm) - Inbus type, DIN 912 4 self-locking nuts (M3) - DIN 985 4 washers (M3) - DIN 125, with an inner hole diameter of at least 3.2 mm or more. Alternatively, you can use a fender washer, penny washer, or repair washer that meets the same specifications.
With this file you will be able to print Filament hanging hook with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Filament hanging hook .
