The initial plan for constructing a spring-loaded guide tube aims to alleviate the shock caused by pulling from a 5lb spool. To build, print a 200-micron model with 25% fill and two shells, alongside raft and support structures. Utilize leftover springs from the print head upgrade (available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:42250). When using a new 5lb spool for printing, I observed abrupt jolts during feed restarts; this design attempts to mitigate such stress.
