Filament guides
thingiverse
The process involves printing and waxing the sides of roller filament guides, followed by assembling them. The jam nut on the axle is adjusted to keep it loose yet prevent it from falling off. 'guide.stl' is designed for mounting on top rods of a Prusa Mendel, while 'guideX.stl' hangs off the side. These guides were created as the designer's filament was mounted in a milk crate below their machine and regular guides without rollers weren't lasting due to friction.
