I'm upgrading the extrusion on this guided wheel using a bearing from an old hard drive, and it's making a huge difference in print quality. By splitting the wheel into two parts, I've seen significant improvements in my prints. The two sections are secured with a spring-loaded mechanism that keeps everything in place. The bearing itself is a 12mm diameter ring with a 8mm clearance for the wheel to rotate smoothly, and I've attached it to the arm of the disk using a sturdy M4 x 15 bolt. With infill set at 100%, my prints are coming out stronger than ever before.
