Filament Guide With Screw

Filament Guide With Screw

thingiverse

I recently used papinist's filament guide and found it was loose on my machine frame, so I added a threaded hole and bolt to secure it in place. To avoid damaging the frame, it's essential not to overtighten the bolt; fortunately, this solution has worked well for me so far. In preparation for future revisions, I plan to modify the design so that the bolt prints horizontally instead of vertically. This adjustment should add significant strength to the assembly and may necessitate a more substantial thread pitch suitable for 3D printing. I foresee a potential need in the future to standardize fasteners specifically designed for use with 3D printed parts. Print Settings: Printer: Alunar M508 Supports: Yes Notes: It would be advantageous if threads were printed horizontally rather than vertically.
