I found jkoljo's filament guide design impressive, but I needed a dust filter too which caused inconvenience during filament changes. To resolve this, I combined both into one improved version. The guide fits perfectly (very snugly) and now changing the filaments is effortless without having to replace the dust filter. It works great with the http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:27546 spool holder. Note that using solid infill may cause issues with installation, so opt for 20% honeycomb infill instead. UPDATE - 16.06.2013 - The modified design is fantastic! Filament swapping has never been easier and I can be sure no dust will enter my J-Head. Instructions: 1. Print with low infill. 2. Cut a sponge piece. 3. Insert the sponge. 4. Snap into place. 5. Share pictures of your creation.
