Filament Guide with ABS and PLA Labels
thingiverse
I use a rotating base for my filaments, known as a Lazy Susan, since it makes loading the material straightforward and keeps perfect tension on the filament line. I created these markers to help differentiate between PLA and ABS filament by remembering the guide design associated with each type. The M3 screw holes are used to secure the guides to a wooden platform that houses several rotating bases for convenience. Typically, two or three filaments are stacked on each base, and a small amount of hot glue is applied to fasten them to the Lazy Susan as well as to the other stacked spools. This approach proves exceptionally effective, especially when the entire setup is positioned on a wire mesh tray elevated above the printer.
