I mounted my filament onto the wall behind my printer, but needed a way to ease the strain where it passed the 90-degree bend. This guide wheel tracks with the filament as it moves left and right, while relieving all of the strain and allowing the filament to travel smoothly. All you need is a couple of standard skateboard wheel bearings to make it work. Just press the bearings in with an arbor press or in a vice, and use your own hardware of choice to pass through the wheel bearing. The radial arm should press into the upper bearing nicely, depending on your print settings. I've made some design improvements since I printed mine. Let me know what you think! Print Settings Printer: Maker Select Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 30% Notes: I'll leave it up to you how you want to print the radial arm. I haven't printed it out since I added the arch on top. I suppose printing on its side with supports everywhere should work.
