Filament Guide w/ 608 Bearing Pulley
thingiverse
I edited the original design on 10/14/2019. It had a flaw: the filament got pinched when printing tall objects. To fix this, I extended the height and added a bigger loop that's mounted at an upward angle. You can download the updated version by clicking on "Best Filament Guide". I've been searching for a reliable filament guide with a 608 bearing for smooth rolling motion. However, I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so I combined elements from two reference projects to create this one. The process required extending the clip to fit around my frame and making some adjustments by cutting and welding other pieces. To assemble this project, you'll need a 608 skateboard bearing that should press-fit into the wheel. For printing, I used supports only on the main piece. The wheel and pin did not require any supports. I've uploaded all necessary parts, including those from referenced projects, so everything is available in one place.
