I was having trouble because my filament kept getting caught on a sharp edge of the printer frame, so I figured it would be great to have a filament guide. Unfortunately, every single one of the guides I came across wouldn't work with my specific model. Most of them were way more complicated than what I needed. This particular design is simplicity itself and will fit any frame that's 6mm wide. I decided to use a slot to keep the filament spool from getting pulled sideways, which was causing all sorts of problems. It works incredibly well and I'm really happy with it.
