This is to make easier the filament change. (blender file also included) It keeps the filament in a kind of funnel direct where is supposed to be, between the hobbed gear and the Idler with Bearing. Complementary to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:553917 (the bottom part that guides to the barrel) You ma have to mirror this to match your extruder (aka left or right) I had to cut a little diagonal bit to the printed (in the pictures) but the STL and blend model has already updated.
