Filament Guide Improved for the PP3DP UP! Plus Printer
thingiverse
In my profile, I've replaced the standard spool holder with a custom-made one beneath my table that accommodates up to 10 spools. Initially, I faced issues with the default filament guide due to my filament being diagonally routed from the table to the printer. The "outsider" version (http://www.thingiverse.com/outsider/overview) of the guide from Thingiverse was a great help, but it still had some problems with the diagonal direction. To rectify this, I made some modifications to ensure the filament remains within the guide regardless of the pulling direction. There are two options for filament guides you can choose from: 1. The inner guide is closed, so you must insert the filament through it before extrusion. 2. The open guide allows post-extrusion placement, but features a safety top to prevent the tube from slipping out of the guide.
