Filament Guide for Tronxy Prusa All Metal (Two Ways)
thingiverse
This is a Guide for the filament in the All-Metal Tronxy Prusa i3 I purchased from Rojo3D in Argentina, which offers a "bowden style" method of feeding the hotend. This prevents the filament from grinding over the feed hole. The design allows for two-way operation: with the filament positioned above or below the center wheel. A notable feature is the threaded rod and nut that secure it through the printer's frame hole, enabling flexible angle adjustments. Three 608 ball bearings, commonly used in spinners, are required for this upgrade. A shorter version of this design (indicated by "_short") positions the center wheel closer to the side wheels, keeping the filament consistently between them. This variation performs better during backward printer head movements and filament retraction. To minimize friction, consider using the TUSH spool holder from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2047554). The design was created in Sketchup and can be modified to suit your specific printer frame needs.
