Filament Guide for Titan clone
thingiverse
I replaced the filament guide in my Chinese Titan clone with a new one that had a larger hole to accommodate the PTFE tube for my E3D V6 hotend. This made it easy to thread filament down the guide into the PTFE tube, and I was finally able to use flexible filament without any issues. Clearly, these clones are not perfect copies of the original E3D part. The printed filament guide by ChrisParish was a great solution, but unfortunately, it didn't fit my cloned Titan. So, I decided to create a new filament guide from scratch using OpenSCAD. It fits my clone perfectly and pushes the PTFE tube right up to the hobbed gear. To make sure the filament enters the tube immediately it leaves the gear, simply sculpt the end of the tube with a knife to match the contour of the filament guide. The source file is included so anyone can modify it to work with any other cloned extruder. I have also provided four STL files for PTFE tube diameters of 4.1mm, 4.2mm, 4.3mm or 4.4mm. After testing different options, I found that the 4.4mm version was the best fit for my PTFE tube.
