Filament Guide for Slack Lack Enclosure
thingiverse
I was experiencing under-extrusion problems with my slack feed enclosure when printing smaller sizes of filament rolls. The filament spool roller positioned the smaller rolls at an awkward angle, resulting in excessive friction. My printer struggled to draw the filament off the roll, so I created a system to guide it through the enclosure top. The Filament_Guide and Swivel_Guide_Mount have recesses for magnets that hold them together, but they fit snugly on their own, making magnets unnecessary. The Swivel_Guide has an area cut out where the filament enters the feeder that can be used for dust cloth insertion, allowing for effective filament filtering. I inserted a piece of a Swiffer duster into this recess. Print quantities: - Print 1 item each of all parts except the axle. - Print 5 axles.
