Filament guide for on (reprappro)NEMA17 motor / NEMA17 clamp

An update: the filament's source affects its usefulness, and even though OpenSCAD can be used for other purposes on the stepper, I have one mounted on the X axis motor of my ReprapMendel printer. Although the motor moves up and down with the Z-axis, it doesn't seem to cause any issues in my case. The filament is inserted at the lower part of the guide in my setup, which I secured with tape. However, I hope that the constriction in the newer version will provide a better fix. If you have tried it and can share your experience, please let me know. The clamping is sufficiently strong but not overly tight for me; my NEMA7 motors have a width of 42.5mm with an 'indent' of (42.5-33.4)/2 mm. As always, you can find more of my projects on github.com/o-jasper/various_physibles.
