This is a filament guide designed to attach securely to the small peg of the Universal Spool Holder by jjpowelly. To assemble it, you'll need 2 M3x14mm screws and 2 M3 nuts. Version 2 has been updated to require just ONE M3x14mm screw and one M3 nut for a seamless build. Before printing, carefully review the print settings note below. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator 6 Rafts: You can choose any rafts setting you prefer. Supports: Yes, supports are recommended from the base only. Resolution: .2 mm resolution ensures crisp details. Infill: 20% infill provides a perfect balance between strength and weight. Notes: This filament guide requires supports from the base only. You can use the same print settings as the Universal Spool Holder for optimal results. When working with Inventor .stl files, apply a 10x scaling factor (e.g., from 100% to 1000% in Simplify3D) for best outcomes. Version 2 eliminates the need for supports altogether while maintaining the same scaling factor.
