I loved Filamentry's design for this guide, especially how it features a round hole instead of needing to cut a slot in the tabletop. However, the design was created with the STUVA in mind, and I needed something different for my LACK. I found that the basic design often allowed bits of wood (paperboard) to fall through, so I decided to mirror it and attach the two parts together to sandwich the table and smooth out the rough edges. This kept the print area clean. The threads are a bit longer than necessary, allowing for some flexibility when dealing with varying tabletop thicknesses. Since Ikea frequently changes parts suppliers, I avoided being overly precise in my design. Note that the "Male" threaded part should be attached to the underside of the table. This allows you to feed filament from above without having to perfectly align it - the guide will help with alignment. Alternatively, you can flip them if you're up for a challenge!
