The hinged extruder filament guide, available at http://wiki.grrf.de/index.php/Hinged_Extruder, features an integrated sponge cloth cleaner pocket suitable for filament diameters up to 3mm. To use the pocket, remove a single layer of material in the guide bore that was initially printed as support. FreeCAD designed and GRRF silver PLA printed models demonstrate effective performance when dampened with a sponge cloth. Note that this design may accommodate calibration issues due to recent printer assembly.
