Filament guide for direct drive

thingiverse

Filament guide designed for mounting on 2020 aluminum extrusion using an M5x10 bolt and T-nut. A lip is present at the bottom, allowing a few degrees of adjustment without being too tight in the groove. It utilizes a bowden adapter from the titan extruder as a mount for the PTFE tube, a 608 bearing for the wheel, and an M4x25mm bolt with a nut to secure it. Approximately 75mm separates the mounting point from the center of the bearing. An updated version has been added, featuring a longer design (about 145mm from bolt to wheel) because previous designs did not provide sufficient strain on the filament, causing it to unroll to the side when using fresh or filled spools. This filament guide requires printing with supports. To avoid any issues, ensure that your support settings are well-dialled in; otherwise, they will be challenging to remove. The wheel/ring and spacer remain unchanged from robathome's Ender 3 Filament Guide.
