Filament guide for bowden direct drive
thingiverse
Background: I used the MK8 Direct Drive in my printer, which has one significant issue - long non-guided distances between the bowden fitting and gear. The filament tends to bend and feed anywhere except the fitting inlet while trying to load it :(\nThis funnel-style guide makes filament reloading very easy. No need to carefully straightening your thread, sharpening its tip, aiming at the bowden fitting, and blaming this direct drive design. Just cut the clog (if present), pull the lever, and push the filament into.\nThe designer intended for this funnel to be installed in an already assembled extruder drive, so it requires a drop of glue to secure it firmly in place.
