Filament Guide for 2020 2040 3030 Extrusion

**Update 2017-12-12** - A new version has been released that addresses issues discovered after extended use: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2710135. This updated design will remain available, but users with a CoreXY, H-Bot or similar design featuring a direct drive extruder are recommended to switch to the latest version. This filament guide is designed to snap securely onto popular aluminum extrusions used by a variety of 3D printers. Parts for 2020, 2040 and 3030 extrusions have been included in this design. To avoid compatibility issues between v-slot and t-slot, I deliberately avoided adding notches that fit into the extrusion channels. This design also ensures that belts or cables will not be obstructed in the channels. The parts were designed with tight tolerances; 0.1mm on the extrusion dimensions for a snug snap fit and minimal wobble. If the filament guide is too tight, users can try printing it in Slic3r Prusa Edition (Free), which produces dimensionally accurate prints according to my experience. On the other hand, if the filament guide is too loose, users can try printing it in Cura (Free), which produces slightly larger perimeters. This design was created in OnShape, allowing anyone to modify or remix the parts and export them to another format from here: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/342c55b50a35e3e9b3ff6e21/w/0085c572b42c80534a577da4/e/a8bbeadeb5dae13e1cd701dc The snap-on spool holders shown in the pictures are available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2537713 Users who require a version for a different sized extrusion can simply request it in the comments.
