The filament guide attaches to an M8 axis, harnessing the foam's natural tension to stabilize the filament flow. This prevents the filament from unraveling when adding a hub spindle, as it then begins spinning excessively due to the increased speed. The added benefit is that the same foam also effectively cleans the filament, eliminating debris and improving overall performance. To further enhance feeding with bowden tubes, simply soak the foam in canola or pure mineral oil for optimal results. A compact cap securely holds the oily sponge in place, ensuring smooth operation. Securely fasten the setup using an M8 nut and a suitable spacer to maintain stability.
