I needed a solution to stop filament from jumping off the reel when the extruder reached the end of the X axis, and this filament guide caught my eye: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:755008. However, I wanted one that could be installed without unloading or reloading the filament in the extruder, so I came up with this design. It should fit any i3 clone with a 6mm thick frame using 1.75mm filament. To print it, use PLA and your preferred settings; it will come out just fine. This is my first thing on Thingiverse. The OpenSCAD code may be crude, but it gets the job done. I hope you like this design!
