These two parts are designed to address three key issues with the Creality CR-10 3D printer. It offers a protective enclosure where a sponge can be placed to filter dust from the filament, allowing for the application of lubrication oil. The top cap presses down on the sponge, securing it snugly against the filament. It positions the filament at a safe distance from the z-axis screw, preventing machine oil from coming into contact with the filament and reducing the risk of snagging. A small opening on its side enables users to thread a zip tie through, allowing them to secure the black wiring bundle leading to the extruder to the platform using Bracket1.stl. This often-nuisance wiring bundle can interfere with prints. By employing a zip tie, some flexibility is maintained, preventing the bundle from being rigidly fixed in place. This piece is intended for attachment to the wheel adjacent to the extruder motor, utilizing the same nut that secures this wheel. The assembly consists of two parts. Bracket1.stl required support during printing; it's unclear whether this part can be printed without supports.
