This single-part design features no assembly screws, allowing for easy access to the fixture's lone screw. It accommodates both types of dust filters available on Thingiverse, including the taller threaded version commonly used. The vertical structure boasts added support ribs for increased stability without adding weight. The rear wire harness retainer has been redesigned to use a zip tie instead of a separate printed part, reducing the number of components needed. This model prints without supports and requires 25% infill at a 0.20 layer height in PLA. I aim to improve the design further by incorporating a built-in wire loom retainer and simplifying the process of swapping out filament dust filters, which are currently press-fit. Additionally, I plan to modify the unit to prevent rotation when bolted up. Overall, this redesigned part offers convenience, stability, and ease of use for your printing needs.
