I designed a custom mount for my filament spool's top surface. Next, I needed to figure out how to feed the filament into my extruder without any tangles or jams. With some extra PTFE tubing at hand, I came up with this solution relatively quickly. Check out another project of mine, the standard 2mm interior, 4mm exterior PTFE spool mount, here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2863939 This design is specifically tailored for standard PTFE tubes and requires about 5-6 inches of tubing to work properly. I used the same M3 screws that are already on top of my towers to secure this part in place. It also leaves a convenient hole for adjusting belt tension without having to remove the entire assembly.
