I recently implemented a crucial safety feature by installing a stopper whenever the 3D printer starts reeling in its filament. This simple yet effective addition ensures that the filament feeder remains stationary and prevents any potential accidents. Additionally, I reinforced the frame surrounding the filament sensor with extra material to strengthen it, as the initial PLA printouts had left it feeling somewhat fragile.
