Filament extrusion test

I have included the calibration cube with no infill or top, ensuring the walls match up exactly to what you've set in the slicer. This is a step-by-step extrusion multiplier test printed from 4mm to 10mm. You'll need some calipers, ideally two for more accurate readings. The cubes rest on a 2mm base, which gives a good indication of first-layer squish. To determine the extrusion multiplier required, measure each step carefully. This will help you calculate the necessary adjustment. To work out the multiplier, use this straightforward formula: divide the measurement it's supposed to be by the actual measurement reading. For example, 3 divided by 2.62 equals 1.14503186 or 1.15 +/- . However, as calipers can vary in measurement accuracy, measure all five steps and take the average to determine the extrusion multiplier.
