Filament end Switch
thingiverse
I design an easy end-of-filament switch based on the Creality CR-10 standard switch. I connect it directly to my Raspberry Pi, which powers the Octoprint server, using a simple plugin that makes it easier than linking it to the main board. The original board is too basic and needs another one, but this way I avoid that hassle. Just two thin wires connect it to the Raspberry, and it's done. I secure the switch in place with a small drop of Cyanoacrylat glue. On February 18th, I made a slight adjustment on both sides of the filament path to prevent binding issues.
