Filament Dust Cap

I wanted to prevent dust from entering the extruder assembly without constantly cutting off and wasting filament. So, I remove the filament and secure this dust cap in place when the printer is not in use. To create the dust cap, simply glue 45mm of filament into the cap. This ensures that the extruder motor securely holds the dust cap in position. I have included the .stp file for anyone who wants to make modifications. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Maker Select V2.1 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Notes: Glue 45mm of filament into the cap to complete this project successfully.
