Use your Presto food dehydrator as a filament dryer, without any destructive changes that would interfere with using it for its original designed purpose. Concept inspired by [thing #4856292](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4856292), but redesigned from scratch. I really liked the idea but found it would take quite a lot of filament and time to print, and that the model file provided was difficult to slice well. My version uses much thinner walls (just over 1.2 mm to slice well as 3 extrusions at 0.4 mm or 2 at 0.6 mm), and is shorter, by making use of another tray on top of the adapter to get an extra couple cm of internal height for free (vs using the lid directly). Printed as all walls, it comes in at about 100 cm³ of material (about 128 g) for all 4 parts of the 4-segment version. It's also slotted to wrap around both sides of the lip on the tray below it; this design doubles to improve rigidity (compensating for the thinness) and bed adhesion during printing. **Do not print this in PLA** unless you have PLA recycling capability - it will fall apart as soon as it heats up and all your material will be wasted. PETG works fine, and presumably ABS or ASA even better. In theory you could use TPU (95A) if that's easier to print with your machine. There are two versions of the panel provided. Using the 90° (4 segments) version is the most cost-effective for filament and fasteners, but requires a large bed and printing one-at-a-time, and may be hard to print if you have trouble with warping. There's also a 60° (6 segments) version that's much smaller, allowing all 6 to be printed at once on a 175 mm bed or single segments on just a 135 mm bed. The segments are designed to be connected with M3 screws and nuts, but the next lower imperial size should work if that's all that's readily available, or in a pinch you could even assemble it with zip ties. This part is intended to be printed at 100% fill, preferably as all walls (configure your slicer for 8 or more walls to ensure they fill everywhere). Printing with a brim is recommended for adhesion, since there's not a lot of surface area attached to the bed and any loss of adhesion will ruin the print.
