First, I'd like to extend a huge thank you to MirageC for their fantastic design. I was inspired by their work and decided to remix it to suit my specific needs. This project has been incredibly helpful in preheating our 3D printer filaments, which has made a significant difference in the quality of our prints. The main goal was to remove excess moisture from the filaments, and this design has achieved just that. At the heart of this circuit is an Arduino board, where I wrote the code using the Arduino programming language. To monitor temperature levels, I used a DS18B20 temp sensor, and a relay to switch the heater on or off as needed. The code was written with predefined values for different types of filaments available in the market, along with corresponding heating times. Users can navigate through these options using three buttons, making it easy to select the right settings for their specific needs. I designed the PCB using Target 3001, and I've attached editable files for anyone who wants to modify or use this design themselves. Here's a list of components required: 1.
