Filament Dryer for 11.4 Inch Dehydrator
thingiverse
This is a wall section that will turn an 11.4 Inch dehydrator into a filament dryer without needing to clip the trays that come with the machine. The body is separated into quarters so that it can be printed on ender 3 sized machines. To build this you just need to print 4 of the quarter-round parts. These parts link together and attach by driving an m3 bolt through the hole in blocks on the outside. Each external block has an m10 hole so that a PTFE connector can be attached to it, allowing you to print with the filament still in the dehydrator. If you are going to print with from the dehydrator, you're likely going to need some kind of bearing mount to allow the spool to turn. I have included on in this package for some random roller bearings I had lying around. You may have to do some hand fitting to get everything to line up. Since this is exposed to heat, it would be best to print these parts out of the highest temperature material you can. I printed mine out of ASA.
