Filament Dryer / Dehydrator spool roller / spool holder

There are numerous adaptations and remixes of this type of roller available. This one originates from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2693565. The primary purpose was to enable printing with filaments while the spool is inside a dryer or dehydrator, particularly useful for highly hygroscopic materials like nylon. This modified design allows the filament roller to fit within my filament dryer/dehydrator while still accommodating 1kg spools. The original design has been altered to increase the height of the filament roller base plate and create a recess for fitting the filament dryer tray. Additionally, two interchangeable spool adapters have been added: one standard adapter suitable for most filaments (with an inner diameter of ~52 mm) and a smaller version designed for spools with an inner diameter of ~48 mm. The angled filament feeder used in this design is available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2116535. Assembly instructions are straightforward. The required components include: - 3 bearings, type 626ZZ - 1 bearing, type 608ZZ - 3 bolts M6 x 20 mm (or longer alternatives will work) - 3 nuts M6 To install the 608 bearing in the roller, I utilized https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1928974 and my vise. It is crucial to ensure the bearing is flush with the top of the hole on the filament roller base plate.
