Filament Dryer / Dehydrator Extension for Small Beds

A 100mm extension to turn a Commercial Chef food dehydrator into a filament dryer. I believe this model is essentially the same as the older, popular Westinghouse version. Max Spool Size: ~220mm x 90mm Top O.D.: 238.5 mm Top I.D.: 235.3 mm Base O.D.: 231.7 mm Base Tab Clearance: 12.25 mm This is designed for smaller printers like the Ender 3 which couldn't easily print this in one piece. It is broken up into 4 quarters which should quickly snap together without the need for adhesives or additional pieces. Unlike some other designs, this lines up with preexisting tabs on the included racks to raise the spool above the base and keep it in place. I recommend using at least one rack above and below the extension and then place the lid on top. This helps secure everything and allows you to dry small items like desiccant packs at the same time. Stacking multiple extensions should work but I haven't tested it yet. I'd at least print in PETG to minimize the chance of warping in the heat but you can probably get away with PLA if only using the lower settings. I've widened the base and added ribs to the walls to help stabilize and reduce warping but I suggest an enclosure or some kind of cover if printing with PETG or ABS.
