thingiverse
A convenient extension sleeve that fits rolls of filament between trays in your dehydrator, accommodating spools up to 110mm thick. Simply adjust a single surface to remix to arbitrary thickness! Fits dehydrators with 12 9/16" tray OD, such as the Self-Mate dehydrator: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0797CVXKN/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Multiple dehydrator-to-filament dryer mods exist online, but most require enormous print beds or numerous pieces. I designed a better solution, avoiding the hassle of gluing PETG. This design features a mechanical joint that requires no tools or adhesives and prints without supports. Print four sections, assemble them together, and you're ready to go! The panel includes a filament exit hole; add your own horizontal spool holder to print with your spool inside the dehydrator. On July 31, 2018, I revised the male side of the attachment to make the design parametric around sweep angle. You can adjust the revolve angle in the .f3d file to suit your needs - default is 90 degrees, but you can try 120 degrees for three parts, 60 degrees for six parts, or any other angle that suits your dehydrator. A 60-degree version and a 45-degree version are also available for smaller print beds. However, printing at 45 degrees may not clear the standoff fins on some dehydrators.
