**Update 02/14/2019 ** Added reversed filament duct so that it can be used facing up or down with the triangular design in the same orientation (two screws on top) for more strength. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I took a fresh look at the traditional filament dry box and came up with an innovative solution. This one uses a sturdy 8mm or 5/16th rod, which is smooth or threaded, and should fit perfectly inside most large boxes or tubs that can hold your filament spool. I used a 20Qt Sterilite box with an 'air tight' gasket and lid latches to keep the humidity level under control. The container's shape and size match the popular Ikea SAMLA box, which many people rely on. The FilamentDuctInside features m3 knurls that are secured in place by m3 button head screws. I think the brass knurls look particularly impressive as well! Each Filament duct has a screw-in PC4-M6 - PTFE Push Fit connector that connects to a bowden tube. I purchased these connectors from Amazon, sold by Eowpower. To achieve an almost airtight seal, I recommend undersizing the m3 holes when drilling them so that the screws can secure everything tightly in place.
