I really liked the design of the filament dry box by tkostandyan5 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4976052) but the base piece was slightly too large for my Mini+ printer and obviously couldn't just be scaled down. This remix is my first ever, so I'm sure that it could be improved upon. I have made it successfully and it functions as intended. I am posting this here mostly for other beginners who have a smaller printer and want to build this model of filament dry box but don't feel confident enough to remix it on their own. Instructions: 1.) Purchase the needed accessories (links in the original filament dry box Thing description.) This includes the 21 cup Rubbermaid bin, bearings for the rollers, the mini hygrometer, silica gel beads, and a small piece of tubing (the tubing may be optional... mine fell out the first time I put filament through it and I didn't notice until after I'd started printing... and it didn't really make a difference, though I plan to glue it in.) 2.) Print the four files. The "small parts" and "2 legs" files should be printed with brim enabled. (I also made the mistake of using the wrong bed and lost some pieces on my first try.) If any of the small parts fail but others can be salvaged, individual pieces can be reprinted from files in the original Thing. 3.) Join the two base pieces. I used superglue and then wrapped with electrical tape. Instead of 6 total legs (two at each end and two in the middle) I used 8 total, and put a pair close to the four corners of each base piece (so the pairs in the middle are relatively close. 4.) Follow all remaining assembly instructions from the original Thing.
