thingiverse
Parts to construct a drybox with the "form" series of boxes, purchasable at B&Q in the UK. This uses a Medium sized XAGO form box and lid. The shaft is a repurposed 20mm piece of tube from an old mop handle. Inspired by Thomas Sanladerer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OY5n9q-wS7k Humidity results are here: http://designingoverload.com/2020/09/16/dry-box-for-sensitive-filament/ You'll need: - 1x box + lid, with the blue lid clips broken off. - 1x 20mm shaft, cut to length - 2x hose attachments and appropriate nuts for the other side (mine were M5) - 1x humidity monitor (optional) - 1x coil of 5mm foam window seal [bought at B&Q]. - Plenty of silica gel beads to fill the bottom. I used around a kilo, and got the kind that start orange and turn green when wet [from ebay]. Printing: - 2x Shaft holder. (scad file included if your shaft is a different dia) - 4x box clips - 1x humidity monitor mount Tools: - hot glue gun - 5mm drill bit and something to drill with [I used a hand drill for precision]
