Filament Dry Box Add-on - Interior Filament Port Filter / Silica Gel Container / Holder

These screw together filament port filter containers can hold small silica gel packs or filament filter / cleaning cloth. They were designed to be applied to the top lid mounts on this filament dry box (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:961881). A 1.75mm and 3mm version has been provided. In my case, I had to use a Dremel to modify the plastic inner rim to fit the curve of the interior filter box; if I had known in advance that I was going to use this filament port filter, I would have placed the holes a couple mm further from the interior lid rim. 12mm M3 screws were used instead of the 8mm I had previously. Four extra STL files have been added with "SM" denoting smaller holes so silica beads will not escape. Print Settings: Printer: QIDI Tech Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.12 Infill: 30% Notes: A raft and support were used for the upside down cap, but only from the build plate. The container was printed without a raft or support. I used ABS with three shell layers, seven top and bottom layers. My infill for these parts was 30% and layer height 0.12mm; you can adjust them to your liking.
