Filament cutter with printed spring

<p>I needed a filament cutter and every one I found needed springs or bolts I didn't have so I designed my own.</p><p>PETG, 0.2mm layers, 15% infill, no supports</p><p>Print the spring 2x, everything else 1x.</p><p>Assembly:</p><ol><li>Firmly push springs into base with the pins on the top pointing inward</li><li>Take an 18mm blade, orient it as depicted on the holder side, and carefully push it all the way into the holder (use pliers)</li><li>Insert the blade holder into base with springs (orientation doesn't matter; you'll need to bend top of the springs outward)</li><li>Push the springs into blade holder</li></ol><p>Disassembly:</p><ol><li>Use a flat tool to pry springs from the blade holder</li><li>Bend top of the springs and remove the blade holder</li><li>Insert a flat tool between base and each spring and push the it toward middle of the base</li><li>Pull the blade out of blade holder with pliers</li></ol><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-_xeIZpIj4"></oembed></figure><p>Spring design from <a href="https://reprap.org/wiki/Compliant_Linear_Motion_Mechanism_1">https://reprap.org/wiki/Compliant_Linear_Motion_Mechanism_1</a></p><p>Includes f3d file.</p>
