Filament Cutter - Slim w/ 2020 extrusion mount
thingiverse
I loved this cutter, but I've found that if it's meant to stay on my printer table, it will somehow vanish when I need it most. That's why I decided to remix it so it can be mounted directly onto any 2020 extrusion. To build this modified cutter, you'll need the following hardware and tools: 1. A compression spring measuring 5/16" x 1-1/2" x .020" or its metric equivalent, 7.94mm x 38.10mm x 0.50mm. 2. A slotted set screw, 4-40 x 3/16", or a hex M3 nut that's 3mm in length. 3. An M3-.50 x 18 screw for mounting the blade securely. 4. A 9mm snap-off blade, perfect for cutting various materials. 5. Two additional M3 screws, each measuring 10mm in length to provide extra stability. 6. Two M3 T-nuts to secure everything firmly in place.
